Patients visiting for the first time

Patients who are eligible for a first visit
  • Patients visiting the hospital for the first time
  • Patients who had a consultation in the past, and who want to consult with another department of medicine for the first time
Items to bring
  • Health insurance card
  • Medical referral letter from another authorized medical institution
  • Please bring any image data (x-rays, etc.) from other hospitals or medical institutions.
  • If you have a claim or certificate, such as one for a specific disease treatment, medical welfare care, etc., please bring it with you.
  • Please bring your medical insurance card with you. If you do not present your insurance card at the reception desk when you arrive, you will be charged the full amount of all medical expenses.

Revisiting patients

Items to bring
  • Health insurance card
  • Patient’s registration card (issued by this hospital at your first visit)
  • If you have a claim or certificate, such as one for a specific disease treatment, medical welfare care, etc., please bring it with you.
Reception area
  • For patients with an appointment
    Please proceed to check-in by using one of the machines for revisiting patients on the 1st to 4th floors.
  • For patients without an appointment
    Please visit the reception counter of the department you are consulting.

    8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Information for Outpatients (Non-Consultation Days)

Closed Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, and from December 29th to January 3rd.

Some clinical departments are closed depending on the day of the week, and a department may be closed due to the doctor-in-charge being away for an emergency. Please confirm your appointment by telephone before visiting the hospital.

By railway:

Limited express and express stop

A 10-minute walk from Edobashi Station Limited express does not stop at this station.
There is no bus stop or taxi stand at Edobashi Station, you will need to walk.
Please note: wheelchair compatible toilets, elevators, and escalators are not available at this station. So, if you require special care, please get off at Tsu Station.
JR Kisei-honsen (Kisei main line)/Ise Railway By bus after getting off at Tsu Station Nanki Limited Express and the Mie rapid train stop at Tsu Station.

  • Mie Kotsu Bus: Get off at the Daigaku Byoin (University Hospital) bus stop
  • Mie Kotsu Bus: A three-minute walk after getting off at Daigaku Byoinmae (in front of the University Hospital)
